Part-time and full-time work
for international students

This page lists jobs that are currently hiring. Most are floor, kitchen, counter and cleaning roles in restaurants and drink shops, across Taipei, New Taipei, Hsinchu, Taoyuan, Tainan and Kaohsiung. Part-time work usually pays between NT$196 and NT$285 an hour. Full-time roles are paid monthly instead, most often between NT$37,000 and NT$45,000.

For students in Taiwan, the slow part of finding work is rarely the applying. It is working out, from a vague listing, whether the shifts will actually fit around lectures. So every job here states its shifts, the district it is in, and how the pay is calculated — you can see whether it suits you without contacting the employer first.

Stated hours are useful for a second reason: you can compare them against the work permit conditions on your own residence card. What you are allowed to do, and for how many hours, depends on your status, and only you can confirm that. What we can do is put the hours in front of you so you have something concrete to check.

Applying needs no app and no CV. Open a job that interests you, log in with LINE, and apply there. Interviews and messages happen in LINE too. It is free for job seekers from start to finish, and you should never pay introduction fees of any kind.
